For the past two years, this event has been organized 8 times! This program is only for the 1st and 2nd semester students.
It is essential for the new students of the university to get the right idea of programming at the very beginning of their university life. And to get inspired, motivated and encouraged to think about their future. Like every time, the DIU CPC has successfully hosted the 8th Take-Off Programming Contest in 27th July, 2018. These types of encouraging programming events helped Daffodil International University to differentiate itself from other universities. This event was a great opportunity for students to acquire knowledge about programming as well as to meet senior programmers and programming enthusiast teachers
DIU CPC’s executive members have worked tirelessly for the overall support from the beginning to the end. The beginning of the program started on 15th June,by opening the registration booth. The crowd gathered in the registration booths told their interest and showed their love for programming. Students who are studying in computer related subjects must know computer programming. Since many people can not understand this truth in 1st and 2nd semesters, they lag behind in their academic life as well as in the career. The volunteers of the Computer and Programming Club have worked hard through this event to make our young minds aware of this fact and to take part in the Take-Off Programming Contest.
There are many ways to learn programming, but the most fruitful among them is regularly participate in programming contests. Regular participation in Programming Contest leads to the development of critical and analytical thinking and a habit of Problem Solving among the students. Which can later be used in various fields of life besides computer science.

The effect of take-off programming contests can also be seen after so many years. The meritorious students coming out of this contest are now proving their skill at the national level. Daffodil programming community is gradually growing up. Students know that programming can be a fun topic and it can be a learned through practice and effort.
Daffodil International University has never been stingy to create skilled citizens in information and technology. In view to this, the students who have participated in the contest are now given the opportunity to get free training classes from renowned programmers of the country. They will get the opportunity to practice programming in the Blue division practice module, where they can work hard on the care of skilled coaches, and can take their own skills to the unique heights.
